1. What yummy4.me is
yummy4.me is an online marketplace connecting clients ("Buyers") with independent hospitality professionals ("Sellers") — private chefs, caterers, sommeliers, mixologists and waiters — for services performed at the Buyer's location in the United Arab Emirates. yummy4.me acts solely as a technical intermediary. Sellers are independent professionals, not employees, agents or subcontractors of yummy4.me.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use yummy4.me. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. Sellers must complete identity verification before receiving payouts.
3. Bookings & payments
Booking requests expire if not accepted by the Seller within 24 hours. Payment is collected when a Buyer pays an accepted booking and is held by the platform (escrow) until the Buyer confirms completion, or 72 hours after the service date, whichever comes first. yummy4.me charges a 5% service fee to Buyers and a 6% commission to Sellers. Payments are processed by Stripe; yummy4.me never stores card numbers.
4. Cancellations
The cancellation policy — including refund tiers, Seller penalties and the strikes system — is described on the Cancellation policy page and forms part of these Terms.
5. Disputes
Buyers may open a dispute within 72 hours of the service date. Funds are frozen while yummy4.me reviews statements and evidence from both parties. yummy4.me's decision (full refund, partial refund, or payout) is final within the platform. This does not limit either party's statutory rights.
6. Off-platform transactions
Soliciting or accepting payment outside the platform for a connection made on yummy4.me is prohibited and may result in suspension. Contact details shared in chat are hidden until a paid booking exists between the parties.
7. Content & conduct
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, descriptions, reviews) and grant yummy4.me a licence to display it on the platform. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. Unlawful, misleading or abusive content and behaviour are prohibited.
8. Liability
Sellers are solely responsible for the services they provide, including food safety, required licences and insurance, and their own tax obligations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, yummy4.me's liability is limited to the fees it received for the booking concerned.
